How to delete autorun.inf virus from usb
If your computer infected with autorun virus, you will get an open with wizard when you double click on a drive. you can manually delete the autorun.inf file using following steps
Microsoft released patch to prevent Autorun Virus
First you Restart your computer to safe mode !
Open command prompt ( Go to Start >> RUN and type CMD)
Go to the drive. ("cd e:" - use your drive letter )
Go to the root directory (cd \ )
then change the attributes of the autorun file
attrib -h -r -s autorun.inf
-h = remove Hidden property
-r = remove Read only property
-s = remove System file property

1. Nokia uses a Dedicated field for modem named PACKET DATA other than profiles that used by Mobile itself to access internet.
You have to dial *99# from your pc. it will dial whatever APN
you selected in PACKAET data of your Nokia mobile..
2. Sony ericsson have the same Profiles both for mobile and Modem through P.C. . You can dial diff. diff. profiles by dialing that no. from pc.
*99***1# means you are dialing first profile of your mobile
*99***2# means you are dialing second profile , According to you
dialed profile relevent AP would be dialed
3. In motorola First of all you have define in your mobile that USB cable you are using is for DATA To do this goto MENU >> settings >> usb >> n make DATA as default media. After this your mobile will work as a modem now You have to add EXTRA INITIALISATION COMMAND
from your P.C. and it will override evry setting of your mobile and P.C.
( You can use this in any mobile if you are facing problem in connecting)
To add E.I.Command goto Properties of Your Mobile Modem and click on
ADVANCE TAB. Here you can add this E.I. Command

Remember do not alter anything except APN and the APN you'll define
would be dailed irrespective of what you have defined in your mobile.
One more thing i should mention here that the APN you are dailing should be activated for your no. (Contact ur operator to activate that)
How to setup your mobile modem in P.C.?
Most of the latest mobile creat there modem itself , there is no need to
do anything just connect you mobile to cable and it will automatically
install it but remeber Pc. Suit should be installed.
In your computer Goto Control panel >> click on Phone and modem option (If you opened it First time then it will ask for country code enter it 91 or anything and press next) >> Come to MODEM tab >> Cick on ADD tab >>
In new window Select "Dont select my modem i will choose it from list" and press next >> Now choose your mobile company in left window and model in right window ( You can maually point for your drivers from HAVE disk in case you have them ) >> Now choose your Port and press next , Most probably you will get a Xp certificate notice just accept it and you are ready :t
How to make a connection From your P.C. to mobile modem??
In your computer Goto Control panel >> Network Connections >>
Click on new connection wizard >> A new window will open >>
Click Next on these new window >> Now choose Connect to internet and click Next >> Choose Set up my connection maually and click next >> choose Connect to dialup modem then next >>
Now choose your modem from list ( Choose only mobile modems ) next>>
Now Give it any Name - next >> This the place where you have to mention your dialup no. which is *99# or according to your mobile as i described above (You can change it lator) next >> If you have any username and password (Only for BSNL ) then enter it here else leave it intact >> Congratulations you have created a succesfull connection

Steps-
1-connect ur mobile & ur OS will ask u to install driver for nw hardware found
2-Locate d downloaded driver and install it as prompted....
3-Go to device manager (type devmgmt.msc in run box frm start menu)
4- Look for ur new device installed under com & ports section & note com port no...
5- go to control panel - phone & modem option- add - select- "don't detect my modem" - next- under standard modem types - select standard 33600bps modem- next- select d com port u noticed in step -4 - next/ok
Now check if everything is ok by selecting now installed modem - properties- diagnostics - query modem...

for all motorola users the best way to setup ur mobile as modem is by just installing the pc suite that comes with the usb cable or can be downloaded ..
now after ur phone is detected an internet connection would be created by default with apn "airtelgprs.com".
but there happens to be a problem with this as the dns always seems to be set to 100.1.200.99 (in case of airtel) : all u need to do is set it to dynamic and thats it u would be connected..
For all those who want to use apn airtelfun.com , dont even change ur default connection in mobile or if u need to use any proxy thats not in ur mobile setting dont bother to change anything in ur mobile. Just put the apn in the place of airtelgprs.com in ur suite settings defalut or else create a new one without the default parameters and put airtel fun or airtelmms as u wish and u r done. Now just put the proxy that u want in proxifier or any software u use and u are now connected without even changin any settings on ur mobile. keep on doin this for any apn and proxy without even touchin ur mobile..

How to read deleted SMS messages on any nokia s60/70/80 phone!!
Required utility:
1) Any system explorer or file explorer program (eg. Fexplorer)
Step 1) Open Fexplorer
Step 2) Select drive C: or D: depending on the memory in which the Sms messages have been saved.
Step 3) For example u selected c: , Then open "system" folder.
step 4) Then in "system" folder open "mail" folder.
step 5) Then in this folder u will see different folders (eg 0010001_s) and certain files (eg 00100000). These files are the actual messages. Browse through every folder and open all files till u get the sms u are looking for.
Step 6) For opening the files don't choose options>file>open as it will show format not supported rather choose options>file>hex/text viewer. By selecting the "Hex/ text viewer" u ll be able to open and read the deleted SMS message.
Note: This will not work if u ve intentionally deleted the contents of The "mail" folder.
you are tired of seeing system errors on start-up after you have installed a nasty nasty application. You know what??? I always say every probelm has symptoms and ... What??? you tell me to get into the subject??? ok ok as you wish. These nasty system errors being thrown at you caused by the last program(s) you have installed which tries to operate on startup. So you want to fix it??? first you will need a program to access the file system. SeleQ for example or any similar software.
Now i want you to do the following:
1. Shutdown the phone and remove the MMC.
2. Turn on the phone and if it did not complain "system error!!" then you know the problem is concerning MMC. Shutdown the phone and goto 10.
3. If it complains about "system error!!" NO do not throw it out of the windows yet. Keep the MMC out and open SeleQ.
4. use SeleQ to go to C:\system\programs (programs folder is the one responsile for carrying the processes (applications whatever you name it) to be brought up when the phone is (re)started).
5. Rename the file(s) you suspect causing the problem. You know this by knowing the last programs you have installed (most of times the name of the file(s) express the application).
6. After you find the suspected file, rename it to .bak (for ex. fff.exe would be fff.bak).
7. Restart the phone.
8. If it complains do 4 - 7 again and so on until it does not complain.
9. If it does not complain yay you have done it.
10. Put the MMC back and turn on the phone.
11. If it complains about system error!! do 4 - 7 but instead of going to C:\system\programs you go to E:\system\programs.
12. If does not complain then you are ok. You are over.
13. If you did not solve the problem I have one final solution to you. Delete the E:\system\"programs" folder and restart the phone and if it still do complains delete C:\system\"programs". It won't complains no more. So you ask what am I supposed to do with the applications that i want to be brought when I restart the phone. You can use autoexec application to do that.
